Bio
Wade joined the CSPA in 2008 and since then has been providing athletes and coaches with the mental skills and techniques to take their performance to the next level and maintain success. Wade strives to empower athletes and coaches to develop the connection between the mind and body to instill confidence and motivation for athletes to reach their performance goals. This is achieved through Education, Acquisition, and Implementation of Mental Training Skills into practice and performance regimes. Wade works with a variety of high performance elite youth and amateur athletes, varsity programs, and coaches, in both individual one-on-one, and team settings. Wade received his PhD in 2015 from the University of Waterloo, his Maters in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor in 2007, his Bachelor of Arts in Sport Psychology from Laurentian University in 2005, as well as his Child & Youth Worker Diploma from Loyalist College in 2009. Over the years, Wade has competed in a variety of sports, ranging from Wrestling & Rugby to Figure Skating & Ballroom/Latin Dance. His main sport of interest was Ice-Hockey where he played at the Jr.C, Jr.A, and Varsity Levels as a goaltender. Wade is an avid dog-lover and is currently looking into adopting Greyhound and Golden Retriever rescues.
