Scheduling an Exam
The CMPC® exam is offered at Scantron test centers in the United States and Canada as well as via live-online proctored testing worldwide. Approved exam takers may select their preferred testing modality at the time of registration.

-
Review the live-online proctoring (LOP) test administration guidelines here. Candidates who choose this modality will need to ensure they have reviewed these guidelines before their test date. There are technical requirements, such as an adequate internet connection, to ensure that the proctor can access the candidate’s computer and that the session can proceed without internet disruption. Candidates are informed of the computer specifications in advance of the testing session.
-
For LOP exams, testing appointments need to be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance of when your testing eligibility expires or you will not be able to schedule. Rescheduling and cancelation requests must be submitted to Scantron no less than 24 hours before your scheduled testing time.

If you have questions about scheduling a new exam or an existing scheduled exam, Scantron staff can be reached at candidatesupport@scantron.com or 919-572-6880. Examity web browser extension is required for live-online proctored exams. For Examity questions, please call 855-392-6489.
New applicants must have their application approved by the Certification Council before they are eligible to sit for the exam. Once your new CMPC® application has been approved and eligibility to sit for the exam has been assigned by AASP staff, candidates will need to follow the instructions received via email to schedule their exam date and set up their candidate account. Recertifying CMPCs and new certification candidates eligible to retest can submit payment here. (There is a 90-day waiting period for retakes.)
