Biography: 

Dr. McCutcheon is a highly skilled mental performance specialist with expertise across a wide range of performance domains including traditional sports, esports, and performing arts. His clients are professional athletes, university teams/athletes, high school athletes, and performance individuals, many of whom have achieved success in state, national, and international competitions.

Dr. McCutcheon excels in collaborating with esports directors, coaches, and players to optimize performance and unlock their full potential. As a consultant, he is considered a pioneer in the field of esports, having been one of the first to offer performance psychology services to collegiate esports programs.

In addition to working with athletes, Dr. McCutcheon also provides Mental Skills Training (MST) to performing artists, helping each strengthen their resilience and develop effective self-regulation strategies. Empowerment is a strong theme in his work. Additionally, Dr. McCutcheon has designed multiple collegiate courses including The Psychology of Performing Arts.
