Bio
Luca was born and raised in Switzerland, where he gained a broad experience in team and individual sports while playing volleyball, soccer, badminton, biking, and skiing. Luca has always been keen on how emotions and thoughts impact sports performance, and this brought him close to psychology, which he decided to study. After obtaining his Master of Science in Psychology at the University of Zürich in 2021, he moved to Canada to do his Master of Human Kinetics with a Concentration in Intervention and Consultation at the University of Ottawa, which allowed him to become a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). Although his services are directed to any individual or group who wants to reach their performance goals by working on the mental pillar, Luca’s ongoing involvement in playing and competing in sports himself has given him a deep understanding of the experience of athlete populations. Through the mental performance consultation process, Luca helps athletes get to know themselves better, grow as humans, and acquire mental skills that are necessary to develop mental fitness for sport and life. Thus far, he has worked with youth and varsity-level athletes in Canada and has also some experience with athletes from different countries
