Biography
Lindsay Berard, PhD, CMPC, is a clinical and sport psychology practitioner who works with athletes and high-performance teams to support mental health, resilience, and performance under pressure. She integrates evidence-based psychological interventions with applied sport psychology principles to help athletes strengthen confidence, regulate performance anxiety, navigate injury and return-to-play demands, and sustain well-being in competitive environments. Lindsay has experience working with national-level athletes and interdisciplinary sport staff, providing individual consultation, team-based programming, and leadership development within high-performance systems. Her work emphasizes psychological skills development, culture, and sustainable excellence and helping athletes perform at their best without compromising their mental health.
Lindsay is trained as a Clinical Psychologist, with extensive training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness based CBT, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), trauma-specific treatment (cognitive processing therapy; CPT, prolonged exposure, written exposure), and emotion-focused treatment. In addition to specialized training in athlete mental health (para and able-bodied sport), she has focused training in first responder and public safety personnel mental health and performance.
