Biography: 

Iman Hassan, PhD, is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) who works with collegiate and professional athletes to enhance mental resilience, perform consistently under pressure, and support well-being in high-performance environments. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of the Master of Arts in Sport and Performance Psychology (MASPP) program at the University of Denver. Iman’s role in academia directly informs her work as a consultant, allowing her to integrate emerging research, innovative frameworks, and evidence-based strategies into her applied practice. Teaching and mentoring future practitioners keeps her closely connected to evolving athlete needs and diverse performance contexts, enabling her to meet clients where they are and tailor interventions that are both practical and scientifically grounded. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Iman competed as a collegiate lacrosse athlete, an experience that shaped her understanding of high-performance sport. She has worked with athletes and coaches across a range of sports and competitive levels, collaborating to develop mental skills that support performance, leadership, and long-term development. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, application, and human flourishing.
