Bradley is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® specializing in consulting with elite-striving athletes around competitive literacy and other novel aspects of sport psychology. He works with athletes, sporting families, coaches, teams, and sport organizations on the Psychology of Practice. Athletes spend most of their time in training, so he meets their needs in that context, equipping athletes with proficiencies to motivate and optimize skill acquisition, helping them find an edge to get to their next level. His approaches are informed by 20+ years of research as a professor at University of Ottawa and as visiting professor at Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific. He draws upon his prior career as a high school educator and insights as an award-winning university instructor to adopt a teaching approach to mental performance consulting. He builds assets in young people so that they become students of their sport, so that they thrive and learn to negotiate all facets of the competitive sport experience. Bradley works extensively with elite competitors at collegiate and post-collegiate levels and with Masters Athletes. His Quality Masters Sport Experience framework is the first of its kind in supporting adults’ healthy pursuit of a sporting lifestyle and is essential to Masters clubs who are trying to enhance their programming.
