Biography:

I grew up on a small gulf coast Island called Lasqueti. This allowed me to live in nature from a very young age and this has dictated a lot of how I view the world. Being in nature for stress relief, exercise, adventure, and recreation is a part of who I am. I started working as a trainer with the University of the Fraser Valley when I was a first year Kinesiology student and worked my way up to being one of the youngest assistant coaches in Canadian InterUniversity sport. During my tenure at UFV I set up, funded, and ran the on campus medical clinic. Always making connections and refining my skills I was able to open my first personal training studio less than a year after graduation. I have worked in high performance sport as a trainer, a recruiter, a scout, a coach, and now as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, and I have refined my skills and knowledge over the past 20 years to have a very deep understanding of what elite performance truly is and how to achieve it.

I currently own two personal training studios and employ 20+ Kinesiologists. I have developed and created an Athlete Performance Academy partnered with the Abbotsford School District. I teach as a sessional instructor at UFV in the Kinesiology department. My professional practice as a Performance Consultant is not limited to sport. I enjoy working with anyone who wants to perform at their best when it counts the most. I am a father of two young sons and my wife and I enjoy calling the Fraser Valley our home.
