Biography:Â
Anna is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) providing counselling services in her hometown of Ottawa. With a passion for tackling mental health in sport, she completed a Master of Arts degree in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University (individual counselling) and a Master of Human Kinetics degree in Intervention and Consultation (health and performance psychology) from the University of Ottawa. She is currently the Varsity Mental Health Coordinator and Counsellor for the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and the Educator of Performance Psychology at The School of Dance in Ottawa. As a lifelong athlete, she has achieved her black belt in tae kwon do and has recovered from several sport-related injuries. She can personally attest to the immense value of mental wellness in the pursuit of athletic performance.
